This one time I texted our @firstrepublic banker at 10PM on a Friday some dumb question, expecting to hear back Monday.

He texted back immediately.

Later, I learned he was at a wedding: his own.

I never texted him late again.

I bank with @firstrepublic ‘cos when I was without a full-time job in ‘13, they were the only one who looked at me as a person - analyzed my assets and income - and gave me a mortgage.

I have started 3 companies, all bank with them.

They do the work of a bank.

The work of a bank is to analyze the risk, make loans, keep the customer, and provide great service. The software is dated but the people are awesome.

I want my bank to pick up my phone. For 9 years, they have always picked up the phone - including this weekend.
