Africa is facing a rapidly escalating health crisis as #mpox continues to spread across the continent.

The Democratic Republic of Congo – the DRC - is currently bearing the brunt of this crisis, accounting for over 90% of the total cases. The IFRC, alongside the DRC Red Cross and other National Societies, has been preparing for moments like this for many years.

We fight #mpox, by building trust and working with local communities.
