@tomik99@Jay_Edlin@OpenMercato@_wove He didn't call your work flimsy though, did he? Just the post. And it's not undeserved tbh. I'm keeping my fingers crossed hard for Open Mercato, but this particular opening post is more buzz than substance. And I write this *knowing for sure* Open Mercato IS substance.
@ActualJC@dcolascione People who worship Thinkpad often also worship the Trackpoint, which you call useless and I use as my sole input device on a laptop. I, for example, would not buy a laptop without a Trackpoint now. So to each his own. 🤷♂️
Wine is to alcohol what Beethoven is to noise: why the International Wine Academy (AIV) appeals against @UN and @WHO “denormalizing” wine. #UNGA80#wine#heritage#culture

Chuffed to be awarded the Peter Hampson Memorial prize for the D1 (Wine Production) @WSETglobal Diploma module performance in EMEA: a bursary to study a wine producing region. Good kick of motivation before upcoming D3 exams! 😀
The @googlephotos family sharing workflow is utterly messed up. To use a photo wife took for anything I can't just tap Share, I first have to find it in a Forsaken Land of Endless Taps, and then explicitly save it to my own library. And then find it AGAIN in my own library. Wtf.
Niewątpliwie największy hit spośród polskich premier na Warsaw Wine Experience. Tak duży, że już po pierwszym dniu, @kbarczentewicz musiał uzupełnić jego zapasy! Bursztyn 2023, gewurztraminer & pinot blanc, 3 tygodnie maceracji i świetny, czysty aromatycznie styl. Wow! 🧡 #pl
Działo się! Tegoroczna edycja Warsaw Wine Experience przyniosła rekordową (i jakościową!) frekwencję! Będziemy do niej wracać wielokrotnie, a ja z pewnością do polskiego wine baru, gdzie swoje wina prezentowało 10 polskich producentów. Tak to robi @fermentmag ❤️
🌍 Sherry Week 2024 raised the bar: 3,000+ events, 29 countries, 15 Sherry Routes, and 8.5M reach. Plus, the debut of Sherry Girl! 💃💛 Cheers to everyone who made the 11th #SherryWeek unforgettable. Here’s to 2025! 🥂
@GergelyOrosz Hey, I still do that! Okay, almost - I've had a desktop for years. It *is* a laptop now, but I need a really serious force majeure kinda need to take it home. It sits on the desk on the dock and that's where it belongs.
@madisommelier@wblakegray I don't disagree with the main assumption. However, kiosk/iPad experience throwing curveballs at you & staff being plain unfriendly isn't by any means equal to "catering to outdated experiences". Both could've been handled very clearly differently.
