I would trust the AI more than a human «expert» acting alone.
Having said that I’d prefer a human expert using AI.
Also, the definition of «understand» become extremely murky if we really think about it.
Based on the common definition, I’d say we don’t understand fully most of the mechanisms of medicine.
This is a slide from Terence Tao's 'Math 2.0' public lecture yesterday evening at Caltech. I am highly confident that, if the cure actually worked, almost any Stage 4 cancer patient would tell you that human comprehension of its mechanism is completely irrelevant to them.

We’re releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model.
We’ve been consulting with the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Study, and we have drawn on their advice and public recommendations to inform how we release these results.

@hubermanlab I’ve listened to your podcast since you started, but I have to say, your book is fantastic. I’m surprised by how useful it is despite having listened to nearly every episode - there were so many important details I’d missed. Really well written too. Thanks!
Congrats to Christopher Petty, Kelly Rich and the Sinclair lab at Harvard on today's #ARDD2026 talk: a first look at SL-100 in mice.
On this chemical reprogramming cocktail, fast-aging mice kept their weight and didn't get frailer. Untreated mice did. Early, unpublished data.
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
Chris Petty just presented v2 of our reprogramming tech in fast aging LAKI mice @ARDD_Meeting. Pilot study shows strong protection against frailty & extension of max lifespan by >33%. Some treated mice still alive 💪
@sindresorhus Wdym? Open source is no longer fun? Personally I prefer to receive issues rather than PRs so I can prompt the PR myself. But to call Open source dead because of incoming PRs? A bit melodramatic. Just thank the author, make the PR yourself, and reference it as a follow-up.
Buying Google ultra is basically robbing Google.
It gives $40 of gcloud credits every month.
So it replaces my Elevenlabs subscription, my azure bill, and OpenAI image generation credits. Plus video generation. Leftover goes to free compute.
It also includes YouTube premium and YouTube music so I can unsubscribe from Spotify.
Oh and pretty much infinite cloud storage.
Oh and you get lots of GPU compute credits with Colab so you can offload GPU work there.
The side benefits pay for themselves. So when Argon drops you get a frontier model basically for free.
Web is a disaster.
It has always been.
My goal is to reduce web browsing as much as humanly possible. I, and we, have suffered enough. Let’s build an eco system where we rely entirely on AI using CLI’s and browser automation.
