H 12, Milano. Cerco un taxi un’ora prima della partenza del treno. Nulla. Lo perdo, prendo quello dopo grazie a un Uber pagato il doppio.
H16.30, Roma. A Termini fila sterminata per i taxi. Cerco un Uber, la congiuntura è buona, pago “solo” 16 euro per una corsa che ne valeva 10.
H 18, Roma. cerco un taxi per un appuntamento che avrei avuto alle 19, distanza 10 minuti di macchina.
Nulla.
Ci riprovo dopo 10 minuti.
Nulla.
Controllo Uber: costo 50 euro.
Sto arrivando in ritardo all’appuntamento.
E sì, ho usato tutte le app possibili.
E no, non è che Uber è più caro, è che non è liberalizzato.
E no, non potevo prendere i mezzi: la metro non copre la mia zona, autobus non pervenuti.
Ho speso soldi per lavorare.
Ho fatto la figura della maleducata arrivando in ritardo.
Ho mancato una call avendo perso il treno.
Mi sono stressata.
E tutto questo accade ogni giorno.
Tutto questo per cosa?
Perché una lobby, i tassisti, incrocia le braccia contro le liberalizzazioni?
È davvero accettabile che i cittadini siano messi in ginocchio per accontentare una corporazione?

This is one of the single best business ideas I’ve ever heard of.

So many people enact Shakespearean theater at work by engaging others in useless meetings and gatherings. Stop these useless meetings and do something measurable and valuable instead.

The big insight is that by eliminating so many meetings, they’ve made so many (bad) ideas become default no vs default yes.

I suspect, over time, what Shopify finds by doing this is it forces real rigor in order to get projects over the line. The result is less bureaucracy, less politics, higher success and more efficiency.

This probably helps keep the A/A+ talent and weeds out the Bs and Cs. A win/win for everyone.

La situazione dei taxi di Milano è ormai drammatica. Oggi in due occasioni ho dovuto cambiare programma. Non è più una soluzione per molti milanesi. Bene M4 per Linate, ma per raggiungere altre zone meno servite non ci rimane che Bike Sharing. La vera differenza tra milano e Londra è tutta qui. @BeppeSala bisogna intervenire.
