YouTube took $4,510.59 from me. @TeamYouTube
On October 12, 2023, my channel was demonetized.
I submitted an appeal, but it was rejected.
So I followed the rules and waited 90 days.
During those 90 days, I changed NOTHING.
Didn’t delete a single video
Didn’t edit anything
Just kept uploading new content
After 90 days, I reapplied…
And monetization was restored instantly. No issues. No warnings. No changes required.
So I have a question for YouTube:
If my channel was actually violating policies,
why did those violations disappear after 90 days without a single change?
And if there were no real violations in the end,
on what basis was monetization disabled in the first place?
And the main question:
Can this be considered that YouTube simply took my $4,510.59?
Or is there another explanation for this situation?
If the channel was accepted back without any changes,
why does the creator take the loss?
This is an old case, but people should be aware:
This can happen.

Is this normal? @TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators@YouTube
@Envision_Deep@TeamYouTube It seems that I've also seen cases where other people didn't do anything and still got their channel back after three months.
Please send me a DM so I can share the link for your HUMAN REVIEW. This is urgent as it affects my ongoing curriculum.
@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators@nealmohan@GoogleOne Please check the classroom records and project files I've prepared."
@TeamYouTube I have already contacted the support team (Case 0-0685000040563), but they mentioned this is "out of their scope" to restore the channel. However, I have crucial evidence (CGI project files & classroom photos) that proves the video was a technical misjudgment.
Having maintained a clean record for 10 years, I request that the standard "Warning" or "Three Strikes" policy be applied if there are still concerns. Please look at the actual video content, not just the AI-flagged frames.https://t.co/sAJ3poweAG
The AI likely misinterpreted the light-colored clothing and high-speed movement during the backflip as nudity. These are pure entertainment shorts involving CGI stunts and have NO sexual intent or suggestive content. I’ve uploaded all original files to my appeal for verification.
@TeamYouTube "Thanks for the support! I have an official YouTube case (1-7549000040366). I’ve also submitted original footage and a detailed README explanation via supplemental case (0-0685000040563). Please ensure the review team checks these materials for the human review of ApexMax. Thank!
@TeamYouTube My channel [ApexMax] was banned without a single warning/strike. The video (a gorilla clip) was misinterpreted as sexual content. As a 10-year creator & Google One subscriber, I request a human review.
According to YouTube’s Community Guidelines, a first-time violation typically results in a Warning and an opportunity to complete a policy training session—not an instant permanent ban. Why was the standard "Warning" and "3-Strike" process bypassed in this case?
According to your policy (pic attached), a first violation deserves a Warning/Training, not a permanent ban. I have already revoked all external managers to ensure full compliance. Please help!
