@rsms@retrodotapp > How can you ever say βthis is perfect, Iβm doneβ with a logo or app icon as a designer?
You can't, you just run out of time.
I need a favor. Working on a talk, and I'm trying to find photos of this old Instagram logo as a sticker. If you walk past a bodega or any other random store and spot it, please snap a quick photo and send it as a reply here ππ»
So excited to launch what I've been working on since joining Figma: Specs
Specs is a new way to bring context into, out of, and across Figma - import a MD file, add diagrams, riff with agents, riff with your team, go wild
We've got a lot more coming from Specs soon, but give it a try and lmk what you think :)
@LeaVerou Been using icons with this mask trick for a side project and itβs awesome. I design them with varying opacity so you can have multi-tone icons too!
I made a fun new lightsaber app, it's free! π€Ί
On Apple Watch, make anything sound like a lightsaber: the sounds react to your movement and even clashes. Works even when you rotate your wrist away.
New Website Inspiration:
A household name at OPL, Tim Van Damme is a product designer at Figma and also goes by Max Voltar. This one pager resembles a photocopied editorial zine, combining textured paper, halftone photography, oversized outlined lettering, structured newspaper columns, and playful red-marker doodles.
Really liked the Side Projects, which led us to The non-work.
