The Indiana Fever were only down 4 with 47 seconds left in the game when the refs decided it was time to seal it for the Aces.
Foul called on Aliyah Boston due to A’ja Wilson tripping over her own feet.
Free throws instead of a turnover.
Game over.
Indiana Fever played their guts out tonight in Vegas. Almost pulled off an upset that would be talked about for decades. Sucks to end with a call as bad as this one was.
"we’ve been running an experiment on millions of kids like her, in schools where homework goes ungraded, teachers don’t show up, and no one can be fired, and then blaming the results on everything except the experiment itself"

Libertarians don't "steal" votes from the Republicans or Democrats.
Libertarian candidates EARN votes from voters who don't prefer the Republican or Democrat choices provided and instead prefer the Libertarian.
If you think denying Libertarians a spot on the ballot is your only chance to win, you've already lost.
At the end of the day, voters across the nation deserve to have more than two choices on their ballots.
And if you are worried about so-called spoilers, work to pass Rancked Choice Voting or another non plurality model.
But don't dare say that we have to deny choices on the ballot so you can win, that's selfish and a way towards constant diminished returns in the quality of candidates.
Lauri Shillings is running to become the next Secretary of State. But she's also running to ensure Hoosiers have the choice to vote for Libertarians for four more years. We are prepared for major party status and ready to earn your vote. https://t.co/FAbkOJHgvi
🇺🇸 He was wearing a bulletproof vest under the FDNY fleece. A Secret Service agent disguised as an umpire stood a few feet away with a gun. Other agents were dressed as groundskeepers.
Officials asked him to throw Game 1 in Phoenix. Safer. Bush’s answer was New York or not at all. It was game 3 of the World Series. Steinbrenner got frisked on the way in.
He had bounced a first pitch in Milwaukee that season in dress shoes. This time he wore rubber soles.
He warmed up under the stands. Derek Jeter asked him: “Are you going to throw from the mound or from in front of it?”
Bush asked what he thought.
“Throw from the mound. Or else they’ll boo you. Don’t bounce it.”
He walked past the short rubber. All the way to 60 feet, 6 inches. Todd Greene was behind the plate. Posada was still in the bullpen with Clemens.
He said later it was the most nervous he ever was as president. Not because of the vest. Because he could not bounce it.
He threw a strike.
🇺🇸 Look at Me, Ma
Bob Beckwith climbed a crushed fire truck just to see the president. He was 69. Retired seven years. Put his helmet back on just so he could help.
Bush was supposed to go to the command post. He came around the wreck instead. Beckwith pulled him up. When he started to climb down, Bush said, “Where are you going? Stay right here.”
Then the bullhorn:
“I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!”
At one point Beckwith looked up at the sky. “Look at me, Ma. I’m with the president.”
He didn’t see any cameras. Driving home that night he kept thinking, “Who’s going to believe I was with the president?”
Neighbors were already coming out of their houses to greet him. Some carried candles. The guy across the street said, “Beck, you were on television.”
Inside, his granddaughter was on the couch: “Grandpa, you’re on TV.”
He had no idea the whole country had been watching.
He saw Bush 11 more times after that. Bush told him he was the man who made him famous. Christmas cards went both ways. He raised money for burned firefighters and told the story when people asked. He died in 2024 at 91. Bush called the house.
For a few minutes on that truck the whole country had one feeling.
Democrats mailed $1,400 checks in 2021 and called it relief. Republicans are promising $5,000 checks in 2027 and calling it a dividend.
In both cases, the money is borrowed, and in both cases, the repayment comes back to you.
The Libertarian Party is the one which criticized Biden's "stimulus" and is criticizing Trump's $5000 giveaway.

Kentucky District 4 voters have Libertarian Jeremy Todd on the ballot in 2026 to end the wasteful spending.
The 3,000 who died weren’t Americans who “lost their lives” to some random natural disaster. They were MURDERED simply for the “crime” of being American. Murdered by members of Al-Qaeda, a radical Islamic terrorist group. Say their name. Never forget.
General David Petraeus writes about how President George W. Bush showed him that presidential leadership sometimes means rejecting the momentum of events—and accepting responsibility for what follows. https://t.co/Kf7OFTZqV0
My all-time favorite quote by Charles Krauthammer explains why I've dedicated the past 16 years of my professional life to getting our politics right, even when politics is far from my favorite subject:
"While science, medicine, art, poetry, architecture, chess, space, sports, number theory and all things hard and beautiful promise purity, elegance and sometimes even transcendence, they are fundamentally subordinate. In the end, they must bow to the sovereignty of politics.
Politics, the crooked timber of our communal lives, dominates everything because, in the end, everything – high and low and, most especially, high – lives or dies by politics. You can have the most advanced and efflorescent of cultures. Get your politics wrong, however, and everything stands to be swept away. This is not ancient history. This is Germany 1933… Politics is the moat, the walls, beyond which lie the barbarians. Fail to keep them at bay, and everything burns."
Honor the firemen and police and others who gave their lives on 9/11. But honor the dead as well by recalling the horror of that day and resolving to do what is needed so it doesn’t happen again.

While student reading scores drop, teachers’ union bosses are funneling hundreds of millions to Democrats and pushing Marxist ideology in our classrooms. This coordinated agenda is failing our kids.
America’s education crisis is a national security crisis. Put parents back in control.
Good question.
FlorIda has no income tax, the lowest in-state college tuition in the nation, and the biggest property tax cut in the hopper this November.
Why are none of these states respecting taxpayers and reducing the burdens they place on them?
