📎 I have a PhD in chemistry (YAY RNA!) but I only sometimes tweet science. Expect a lot of cubs, politics, kids, and some food tweets. Chicagoan relocated
@VicVijayakumar I'm going to need you to remember my worst eyeroll ever during grad school. But also I love you guys and please pass along my well wishes to your amazing wife
@sarahmccammon Id like to know the rate of theft that was actually happening before installation. I hate the locked boxes but I'm skeptical. I'd like to see the theft rates all across different neighbourhoods and when (and where) they decide to implement these stupid lock boxes.
I'm sure this is just a Russian bot, but it bears clarifying that Trump is not building a monument to America. He is building a monument to himself, which is a very unamerican idea.
@CBSNews@olivialarinaldi How dare a monument be built around other monuments to celebrate our 250th birthday as a nation. How dare we use classical designs and materials. Y'all complain about EVERYTHING. It must be a sad life.
🚨BREAKING: MAGA is outraged over an episode of “The Pitt”… claiming it “demonizes” ICE agents.
Meanwhile… here in real life…
A sitting Chicago elected official, Jessie Fuentes, walks into a hospital, sees Border Patrol detaining an injured man, and does something pretty radical… she asks a simple question: “Do you have a warrant?”
That’s it. That’s the “crime.”
Because seconds later, she’s grabbed, shoved, and put in handcuffs… inside a hospital… for asking if the Constitution still exists.
Agents were holding a man in a hospital bed, trying to arrest him, when his leg was broken, needed surgery, and was still being detained by agents, while lawyers initially couldn’t reach him.
An elected official asked for a judicial warrant, and instead of producing one, they arrested her. They didn’t explain the law she broke… because there wasn’t one.
And MAGA is watching a scripted TV episode, calling that “unfair” to ICE?
Be serious.
The show isn’t “demonizing” ICE, it’s depicting what people are literally recording on their phones.
They’re not mad because it’s inaccurate… they’re mad because it’s recognizable.
Because once you see it, you can’t unsee it… and suddenly “it’s just a TV show” doesn’t hold up when reality looks exactly the same.
Haha, same message bitch. You and kid rock are just too dumb to realize Jesus would have been on Bad Bunny's side. I don't understand what bible you idiots are reading.
Tonight, “Bad Bunny” ended his halftime show urging everyone to show “love” to all foreign countries as he spoke in spanish.
Meanwhile, @KidRock urged everyone to give their lives to Jesus and dust off their Bibles.
The choice is clear, America.
Erika Kirk: “Despite the devastating loss of Charlie Kirk, my incredible husband, at UVU, Caleb has persisted with the same grift, excuse me, grit…”
This is the greatest Freudian slip of all time.
If I know Ken, he's talking about elected Dems. But Trump could be referring to "the left" more broadly. Protests are obviously less disruptive now than they were in 2020. Protests of the DC police takeover made little to no news.
Makary: "We have a lot of data and it may not necessarily be the traditional 50 year randomized control trial follow up. It's data from families that say their kids have been acting with bad behavior ... and they eliminate the petroleum-based food dyes and the behavior improves. That is data."
@tridentseafoods@CloverParkTech Hey it's time to actually stand up for Alaskans, please insist @lisamurkowski vote no on the "Big beautiful bill" as it will be incredibly harmful for Alaskans.
