The demand is a plea for recognition, protection, and empowerment. It embodies the universal right of every community to safeguard its heritage, uphold its identity, and thrive in harmony with its surroundings.

SP Shivanand Surve who was threatened by Kuki organisations to leave ChuraChandpur within 24 hours tell :

1) The Kukis had a vendetta against security forces for years. When 20 acres of poppy cultivation was destroyed on the 20th of November , 2020, one Lun Haokip called for attacks on security forces by Kuki terr0rist groups.

2) He offered to pay money and give rations to any volunteers attacking the police.

3) 8 security personnel from the Central forces have lost their lives at the hands of Kuki Terr0rists.

This is an attack on Bharat.

4) Most of these terr0rists enjoy immunity from large scale operations and are paid a monthly stipend from our taxpayer money under Suspension of Operations Agreement. They are violating the terms of this agreement with sickening frequency.

Kuki terr0rism and land grabbing through cultural g€n0cide must be stopped.

🚨Breaking: One BSF Jawan is injured from Kuki Terrorists attack in Sugnu, Manipur.

Since Feb 14th, Kukis have been launching continuous attack towards Meitei villages in Sugnu from the surrounding hills.

It should be remembered that a BSF Jawan already lost his life in Sugnu during this violence at the hands of the Kukis

For the past nine months, Manipur has witnessed a disturbing surge in #Kuki terrorism, marked by blatant violations of the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement.

#KukiMmilitants, who are on ceasefire under the SoO agreement, have repeatedly violated the agreement resorting to egregious acts of violence and criminality. The pillars of peace have been shattered as they engage in wanton killings, extortion, kidnappings, and operate drug cartels with impunity. The very essence of the SoO agreement, aimed at fostering stability and dialogue, has been defiled by their actions.

Moreover, the resurgence of arms smuggling, fresh recruitments, and illegal trade activities underscores the urgency of the situation. Their empty camps serve as breeding grounds for further chaos and unrest, posing a grave threat to the fabric of Manipuri society.

In light of these egregious violations and escalating terror, its time to abrogate the SoO agreement. Continuing to uphold an agreement that has been flagrantly violated only emboldens the perpetrators and undermines the rule of law. The safety and security of Manipur and India must take precedence over any diplomatic niceties.
