BDS VICTORY: Ontario Public Service Employees Union (@OPSEU) votes to support the BDS movement and divest from Israel!

In June, the executive board of OPSEU, which represents about 180,000 public sector workers in Ontario, adopted a motion committing OPSEU to "actively support the international campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS)," and notes that it will "make all reasonable efforts to divest its own investment holdings and other operations from companies that conduct business with Israel where possible without unduly affecting the union’s financial security or operations.”

OPSEU joins other provincial public sector unions in supporting BDS, including CUPE Ontario, CUPE Manitoba, CUPE BC, and more!
