Border device searches are not a scalable control against competent adversaries. They are a low-yield investigative dragnet that may catch careless offenders, but they do little against modern data movement and impose enormous privacy costs on ordinary travelers. Heaven’s streets have always been guarded by Marines. Today, Chuck Norris reported for duty.

We mourn the passing of Chuck Norris, a @usairforce veteran, who also became an honorary Marine in 2007 when awarded the title by then Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James T. Conway.

Chuck Norris is one of just over 100 individuals to be awarded the title of Honorary Marine in the entire 250-year history of the Corps.

Some missions may require a battalion, but this one just requires an Honorary Marine.

The meteors will be visible all night – just look to the eastern sky.

Under the darkest skies (and after allowing your eyes to adjust), you could see up to 120 Geminid meteors per hour.

Florida concealed carry process is amazingly efficient, from start to finish in two weeks and they mailed it to me. They did the picture and finger prints at the same time, and kept the place open late for me (you have to pay with a check which like most people I don’t carry around my check book so I had to leave and come back).
