@katebevan You should be able to sit and just behold the tree, letting your eye pick out little surprises here and there that evoke memories from childhood, past Christmases, silly little hidden treasures, things painted by children, last-of-the-set bawbles from the 70s, etc
@roastmalone_ Something I haven't seen mentioned here, is anything that he can play with on Christmas Day. I often find typical adult/man gifts are things that will be used later, but it's really nice to have something to play with *right now*.
Anyway, the answer is a drone with a camera on.
@Jamie_D_T Totally agree. It hangs like a shadow over every conversation about "whether we can afford" to address climate change. It always makes me wonder if the people speaking are truly ignorant or deliberately disingenuous.
