PETA will continue monitoring EVMS to ensure that baboons are never again purchased for experiments. Now, help other monkeys suffering in labs by calling for the closure of the Washington National Primate Research Center ⤵️ https://t.co/DrryYCiiz2
This @EVMSedu experimenter once forcibly impregnated baboons, pumped them with hormones, & cut out their fetuses, but now, these tests are over! Pepe lost his funding & has no monkeys in his lab.
This follows YEARS of PETA pressure, investigations & complaints 👏
Hey @Pret you PROMISED
to stop using frankenchickens in 2018.
The 2026 deadline has passed.
0 progress.
Frankenchickens are breed to grow faster than their bodies can handle. Many suffer chronic pain, heart failure & lameness.
Time to change your ways & end their suffering!
Dr. Muhammad Mashali, lovingly known across Egypt as “The Doctor of the Poor,” never owned a car or a cellphone. He lived without luxury, but spent over 50 years quietly healing thousands of lives.
Every day, he walked the streets of Tanta in Egypt’s Nile Delta to his modest clinic, where patients, rich or poor, were always welcome. Many paid nothing. Some days he treated 40 to 50 people, often covering the cost of their medicine himself.
After graduating with honors in 1967, he made a solemn vow: he would never turn away anyone who couldn’t afford treatment, a promise inspired by watching his father sacrifice everything for his education.
“My reward is not money,” he once said, “it’s the smile of someone whose suffering has ended.”
When a wealthy businessman once gifted him $20,000, a car, and an apartment, Dr. Mashali sold it all and used every penny to buy medical equipment for his patients.
He treated everyone with equal dignity, regardless of religion, status, or background. For more than ten hours a day, he offered not just medicine, but compassion and hope.
Dr. Muhammad Mashali passed away in 2020 at the age of 76, leaving behind no wealth, no grand possessions, only a profound legacy of kindness.
Real change starts with real experiences.

Well done Poland 🇵🇱 👏.
Poland began using specialised drones to detect and rescue Dogs living chained up or in neglectful conditions in rural areas of the country. The initiative aims to combat animal abuse that for years remained hidden in backyards and remote plots of land.
Animal protection organisations and specialized units use drones with thermal cameras and powerful zoom lenses that make it possible to locate animals even at night. In addition, the images obtained serve as evidence to initiate legal action and remove the dogs in serious cases.
Polish legislation states that dogs cannot be kept permanently chained and requires a minimum space for movement. Thanks to this technology, authorities have managed to detect abuse that was previously difficult to prove.

A tiny stray puppy was left alone on the side of the road. No one paid attention to her—people walked past without stopping, even though she sat there looking sad and weak 💔
Selina stopped, rescued the puppy, and cared for her devotedly. At first, the puppy was very weak, with no fur and severe skin disease that made her look like a “dinosaur.” Thanks to love and perseverance, the puppy recovered, her fur grew back beautifully, and she became cheerful, happy, and full of life 💖✨

Urgent please retweet to help Taz find a home #STOKE#UK
💔💔💔AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, AGED 15!! 💔💔💔
Now in a council pound
Taz is a 15 year old (15 just turned in may) male neutered x breed, Taz has come in via the dog warden service and he has not been re-claimed.
Due to Taz being a stray this means we hold no history on him at all 🙁 due to Taz's age we may not know how long his potential new owner may have him for but he does deserve the best!, Taz's previous owner has looked after him extremely well and he is in a surprisingly good condition for his age!
Since Taz has been with us he has been a quiet relaxed boy who does a lot of sleeping and pondering around, he does still also have a spring in his step and likes to wander!, he is fantastic on the lead and ignores the other dogs and does not pull at all, however we do not recommend that he is off lead as he will be off and on his travels!
We do think Taz needs a quiet relaxed home where he can wander around with his owner and spend his time with them and also be their best friend!, we will say no to small children as he doesn't like to be over bared with affection at times. He would enjoy a retired owner or someone at home during the day .
To arrange a meet and greet Taz please call us on 01782 304 130 11am until 4pm.

Maruay is a male Bengal Tiger rescued in April 2022 from Phuket Zoo in Thailand, where he ‘lived’ in a small concrete cage. Now residing at the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) Tiger Rescue Centre, he has gone viral for his love of water, swimming, and playing with a large red ball.
Born into captivity, Maruay was used as a photo prop and kept in poor conditions before his rescue. At the WFFT sanctuary, he has access to17 acres of forest and large lakes.
