The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

SV-GWAS is highly accessible now! Our new paper in @NatureGenet shows how HiFi long-read assemblies let us repurpose SNP-based GWAS data to impute structural variants (SVs) to interrogate their role in human complex traits and diseases. @WeiyangBai https://t.co/zSB90E3at0
@mbeisen Maybe we just don’t understand AI enough, I am all sold by this (I can’t take responsibility for AI generated work here, I can’t be as good as AI)

@jmschreiber91@anshulkundaje DeepLIFT/SHAP reports a lot of scary deltas when I've run it at bf16 before, so I mostly stick to tf32 where the deltas look more smol.
Two new variant-impact tracks from Illumina on the UCSC Genome Browser: PrimateAI-3D scores every coding missense variant (hg38/hg19); PromoterAI scores every non-coding substitution near transcription start sites (hg38). See our news for more: https://t.co/FMNe3en9L5

wrote a guide on getting compute grants as a student, something I wish I did more at the beginning of my PhD. It's honestly one of the highest ROI things you can do as a student (we've gotten 100k+ gpu hrs for roughly 2 weeks of work writing).

was asked how far seq2exp models generalize across species.remembered this amazing work.Enformer predicts accessibility, histone marks across mammals and even birds. But hit a wall at fish, suggesting there's a phylogenetic breakpoint.lots of other cool stuff
