We all warned GOV this would happen - urgent action needed so this doesn’t become a common story 👇

@deandunham Is there anything that consumers can do meantime as tt are failing to stick to deadlines set to refund and are now refunding in dribs and drabs this last mont? the fb group has gone from almost being ready to close due to refunds to having lots of members again and rising fast
True to its word the @CMAgovUK has stuck by this but surely it has now issued enough warnings - time now for court action and those who are still waiting for refunds should be compensated for the wait.
@deandunham This is positive and definitely should happen now however what does “unless the matter is resolved” mean as this sounds like another deadline or timescale has been given to them which could just keep happening? Thanks for this update dean!
The CMA has just told me it does not consider that enough has been done to ensure that Truly Holdings (Teletext) is able to provide refunds to package holiday customers with outstanding claims. It has told the firm court action will now be taken unless the matter is resolved
@deandunham I’ve pursued through chargeback & s75 claims & got all but deposit of £200 - card company didn’t process this s75 claim & now say they can’t. TT won’t refund as insist the process was started. Im determined to get it all but unsure what to do.done the online form & been ignored
Still no refund from @TeletextHoliday despite @CMAgovUK investigation & deadline given! Still hanging up on customers & refusing to discuss refunds! When will there be consequences for this immoral nightmare of a company?! @Mattallwright@BBCWatchdog@deandunham
The @CMAgovUK has investigated and has announced it is discussing a solution with Teletext Holidays - which will mean Teletext providing undertakings to refund everyone. I think there will be a further announcement soon
I'd just like to personally thank both dean and ofcorse his amazing wife for all thier time dedication and efforts in helping in being the voice of so many in our hour (year) of need we will never be able to repay you for the hope and support you've given so many ... thankyou🦸♀️🦸🏿♂️
The CMA has announced it will be taking enforcement action unless Teletext Holidays agrees to refund ALL customers who had a holiday cancelled. You are now asking me "What happens next and when will we get our refund?"
@CMAgovUK joins me on @LBC to answers these Qs after 9pm
@TeletextHoliday STILL telling customers they can’t have refunds!STILL breaching contracts!STILL breaking the law even though @CMAgovUK stepped in to investigate!Holidays cancelled & YOU have contracts with customers & are the provider for PACKAGE HOLIDAYS as per ATOL!STOP LYING!
Following my tweet with similar photos yesterday - today’s instalment of @Trustpilot allowing @TeletextHoliday to post fake reviews!Same person working for teletext who was reviewed by a “customer” then left a review for a colleague apparently??!corruption at its best! @CMAgovUK

@CMAgovUK Whats the consequence for companies when they’ve actually continually broken the law for a year now??individual breaking the law wouldn’t be told “be good from now onwards and we’ll forget you’ve broken the law” they’ve knowingly done this to thousands of us with no consequence?!
We've told Lastminute. com they will face legal action unless they refund the customers they’ve committed to repay for package holidays cancelled due to the #coronavirus pandemic.
