2026 House Forecast - July 26, 2026
🟦 226 🟥 209
If I was rating the entire House as a whole, I'd give it "Lean D." I'd give it a 75% chance of a Democratic victory right now. Polling shifts in the future could change all of this. Below are projected margins of victory.
Trump promised to lower mortgage rates, but the 30-year rate remains stuck near 7%.
The situation may get worse this year for homebuyers as analysts predict persistent inflation could lead the Fed to tighten monetary policy.
Zelenskyy: If you think you can use only drones and don't need soldiers, no, you will fail.
If you don't have a soldier on the front, the enemy infiltrates, and you lose the village, then the next village, then the city. 1/
I’m totally disgusted by the shootings and vandalism that took place in Toronto over the last few days, including at two Jewish-owned businesses over the weekend and near the U.S. Consulate this morning.
In all cases, active police investigations are underway. I expect all those responsible to be found, prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

As someone who has long fought to see the Gordie Howe Bridge completed, I was very proud to ride the first motorcycle across for the grand opening today. This bridge is a huge win for Michigan residents, workers, and businesses, and a boon for our state’s economy.
He survived the battle for Mariupol.
He did not survive russian captivity.
Bohdan Usenko was captured on April 12, 2022, during the breakout from the Ilyich Steel Plant.
His wife spent years searching for answers. She recognized him in a russian propaganda video. Freed POWs later told her what had happened behind bars: torture, broken ribs, relentless pain.
Then came the message no family should ever receive.
“This is not just grief. It’s the silence after the explosion. It’s a life that will never be the same again.”
Bohdan Usenko was murdered in russian captivity.
Every murdered POW is another russian war crime.
Don't let them die twice in silence.

Trump’s extended posting spree yesterday suggests that he’s literally *psychotic.*
But the press is too terrified or timid to report that.
Some professional journalists with laptops and cameras need to start doing the job of reporting on the disintegrating mental health of the man with control of the planet’s second-largest arsenal of nuclear weapons.
It should be the most important news story in the world today.
BREAKING: Newly released court filings and allegations, reveal Republican Max Miller poured hot water on his wife, put a gun to her head, and may have broken his two year old daughter's collarbone. Why is Mike Johnson defending him?

NEW: Former FBI Director James Comey is asking a federal judge to throw out the felony charges against him over a social media post.
Comey argues the DOJ singled him out over his post, which included a photo of seashells on a beach arranged to spell "86 47,” a common anti-Trump slogan. https://t.co/Q1EBwbrG9i
This is the stuff he normally does at night. And it suggests that however little sleep hygiene he previously maintained is gone. Which makes me wonder if he is reaching a new level of decompensation.
