May be misquoting, but one of your / andrew's takes was reading books are a waste of time to making money.

What's the point of reinventing the wheel and figuring stuff out yourself when you can learn from other people's experience to do what they did?

Experts spend months putting their experience and knowledge into a book.

Seems silly to not use that.

in general I've noticed americans care less about quality and more about getting things quickly.

The 9-5 lifestyle was the real alpha all along. Start the morning by getting out of the house. Lock into a few hours of deep focus. Socialize with fellow humans when you want a break. Retreat back to your sanctuary after a long day of progress

The only reason it feels like a prison is because you're being forced to do it. But have your own autonomy and make your own rules, many of you will eventually come to structure your routine this way again by choice after experiencing the insidious comfort of undisciplined freedom

Turns out you can add a clause in your contracts so your debt collection costs are added ONTOP of the invoice amounts.

You get paid full fee, debt collector gets paid his fee, client pays for you both.

PSA: If you have issues with a client not paying - get in contact with a debt collector. They'll handle all the followup / legal jazz to get you paid in exchange for ~20-30% of invoice amount.
