@isabelunraveled Don’t stop doing things that scare you. It’s the only way you’ll continue to grow professionally. Make and keep close friends, this is a challenge in the busiest part of life (30s and 40s) but will be a great source of joy and comfort in your 50s.

@Stopworkplacebu Catering manager stick my hand in a pot of scalding hot coffee because a patron said their coffee wasn’t hot enough. I got second degree burns that blistered and disallowed any shifts off over Xmas.
@notcapnamerica At 15, my manager at McDonald’s wouldn’t let me leave the staff changing area until I gave him a kiss. “Just a quick kiss and I’ll let you go back to work”. He was 21.
