The more I reflect, the more I'm convinced that a man's happiness depends entirely on his ability to be 100% independent. A man should love, but not depend on the love of others to be happy. A man should be able to enjoy the company of others, but not require it. A man should be able to lead or work with others, but not depend on others for his success. The only sustainable happiness a man can hope to achieve depends entirely on his mindset, not on the unpredictable whim of others.
