وفي هذا الأسبوع أيضًا نُشر تحقيق جديد لهيئة الإذاعة البريطانية BBC حول إطلاق جنود النار على فتى يبلغ 14 عامًا بينما كان يفرّ. قُتل برصاصة في الظهر. بعد ذلك وقف جنود المظليين، أصحاب الخصلات الأنيقة، "خيرة أبنائنا"، لمدة 45 دقيقة ببرود تام إلى جانب الفتى وهو ينزف ويتوسل للمساعدة. أربعة عشر مسلحًا بلا رحمة قتلوا طفلًا وانتظروا أن تزهق روحه. وفي معظم وسائل الإعلام الإسرائيلية، رغم قدرتها على الثرثرة بلا نهاية، بالكاد سُمعت عن ذلك كلمة واحدة طوال يوم كامل. لأن الموت هنا أصبح أمرًا عاديًا.
