Can’t say I’ve ever seen an Ocean Heat Blob this intense & vast, over the entirety of the Pacific basin - the marine heatwave is literally from coast to coast. It’s remarkable. Since May the record heat has now migrated to the US West Coast.
Meanwhile the tropical Pacific is where the cool off is occurring as we head into La Niña.

These resources bring climate challenges to life while spotlighting careers in environmental management.

Students explore real-world strategies like flood risk planning and Environmental Impact Assessments, and even chat with Environment Agency staff through interactive tech.
