Can’t say I’ve ever seen an Ocean Heat Blob this intense & vast, over the entirety of the Pacific basin - the marine heatwave is literally from coast to coast. It’s remarkable. Since May the record heat has now migrated to the US West Coast.
Meanwhile the tropical Pacific is where the cool off is occurring as we head into La Niña.
Life is too short to worry about little things. Have fun. Fall in love. Regret nothing, and don't let people bring you down. Study, think, create, and grow. Teach yourself and teach others.

The GA has partnered with the Environment Agency to create A level and KS3 resources that are available for free on our website.
These resources bring climate challenges to life while spotlighting careers in environmental management.
Students explore real-world strategies like flood risk planning and Environmental Impact Assessments, and even chat with Environment Agency staff through interactive tech.

Over the last few months, the Geographical Association has been working in partnership with BBC Teach on a couple of projects, designed to provide high-quality resources for geography teachers.
Following a review of BBC Teach video content, Jon Cannell (primary) and Fiona Sherriff (secondary), have created teacher notes to support these resources.

We are saddened by the passing of Jim Lovell, commander of Apollo 13 and a four-time spaceflight veteran.
Lovell's life and work inspired millions. His courage under pressure helped forge our path to the Moon and beyond—a journey that continues today. https://t.co/AjT8qmxsZI
Surprisingly good fun. The article prompts you to draw oil price onto the chart for the time surrounding several global conflicts. It then reveals the real data. Great use of data in reporting: https://t.co/XXK7Z53jMD

This is sobering. The video takes almost an hr to show all of the names of those killed. They are shown in age order. Youngest to oldest. It takes over a minute to get to the names of those over a year old. https://t.co/9eD9Igv14B
