Here is a thread on the most important studies on the topic of dyslexia. If you’re interested in the science of reading because you want to help dyslexic students, a highly recommend you read these studies. 1/6
@_NorthStarCoach @TheSumoGuy@RockKidzCam Taking (or threatening to take action) at IPEC (court for copyright cases ) is simple enough. Done it plenty for illegal uses of my images. All sorts of people steal images such as solicitors firms and hotels
@primaryteachew In my experience people are more surprised and horrified at people who DO want to go into leadership rather than those who want to continue being a class teacher. More stigma attached to leadership
@missbhammond @brassoteach Exactly. Other (more multilingual) countries teach second language from primary age. A more consistent approach in terms of what second language is taught would be far more beneficial than simply sacking off mfl altogether
@PhilippaMiss @brassoteach Similar to other subjects. Consistency in the L2 taught would improve teacher training, professional development and help when teachers move between schools so not learning to teach a new language. High quality resources can be developed similar to approved phonics resources
@Andy_Carruthers@matilda__martin Probably expect experienced teachers are less likely to walk away and start at the bottom of the pecking order and try to retrain
