There is no clear reason why agentic dating would outperform current dating apps. An agent can only present a prospective match to you. It would still rely on both sides opting in, which is the swipe mechanic in a different form. This is unless perceived match quality is 100x better, though it’s unclear why or how this could occur.
But I’m down to be proven wrong ☺️. I like what @KeeperAI is doing.
@signulll@davemorin Yeah exactly and this causes a growth asymptote. Plus it hurts the distribution of activity for men bc if they’re silenced then unpopular men can’t find a way to compete. And women have no incentive to perform in chats in the same way, so they’re mostly DOA.
@signulll@davemorin I was the 2nd PM hire on Bumble and left after the IPO. Would be curious to see your thoughts, bc there's a reason the original mechanic didn't work.
@lucymort_ Cool idea! I think the issue would be you would also need to enforce some sort of bar for the men you admit, as even with a ratio biased to women, if the men were very unequal in their ability to attract women the same problems would emerge.
@alexkehr the intention of users to use your product and complete key actions measurably increases if they're on a trial bc they're invested, which can help you prove the value of the product so they retain. don't think it's this black & white.
@SherryYanJiang@sama amazing tv but was always frustrated by the fight scenes….. like why are they fighting using the laws of physics if they’re made of code……
