8 years is a delay. 8 years w/o resolution is a failure of administration. CSS has waited long enough for its 4th Cadre Review. We ask for no privilege. We ask for the machinery of government to move.

A delayd prmtn is disappointing. A repeatedly delayd one is a pattrn.
8+ years of pending Cadre Review, with stagnation at ASO→SO, SO→US, US→DS, is structural failure — fixed by action, not patienc.

As per DoPT guidelines, a frequency of 5 years is established for conducting cadre reviews, means every 5 years there should be a cadre review. But for CSS (the cadre managed by DoPT itself) cadre review is pending for 5 years.
