We are super excited to have our work published and recognised by the media. Very many thanks to Drs Monica Kanki, Ruidong Xiang and Artika Nath, our coauthors and support from the BakerHDI for their hard work on this project. Now on to the next one….
A Victorian-led study has finally pinpointed how much sleep we need each night. For more, @mikeamor7 spoke with Professor @moragjyoung from @BakerResearchAu. https://t.co/5zYfOfGqUb #7NEWS
Whoa so proud to see this out in @CircAHA. Oxygen Pathway Limitations in Patients with Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension https://t.co/B3F2KykDlR Big team effort between @BakerResearchAu & @UZLeuven. @guido_claessen @minouye271 @ALaGerche
The polygenic risk score is an increasingly popular research tool with lots of potential in the clinical setting. See the minimal information framework developed by @PGSCatalog & collaborators to promote the validity, transparency & reproducibility of data

Out now: We show how genetics is being used to aid risk prediction, diagnosis & earlier treatment of diseases such as juvenile arthritis. It follows development of genomic risk scores for coronary artery disease & ischaemic stroke @minouye271 @rcanovas2 https://t.co/Gc5VfTPlum
Our work shows the potential of GRSs for JIA as a composite diagnosis as well as the subtype-specific GRSs. It also suggests that a diagnostic algorithm based on a JIA-GRS may provide a more timely, accessible and reliable means of assessing children with JIA. 6/7
Find our new blog post ‘How to make a COVID-19 vaccine from scratch’ written with @DrKatHolt. Aimed at vaccine non-experts, students, journalists etc. Covers all aspects of vaccine development from start to finish. All in one place. Enjoy!

Question @ScottMorrisonMP@DanielAndrewsMP. How are our gas, electricity and internet providers contributing to reducing the burden of #covid19australia ? We’re all working from home, they’re all reaping the benefits!
New preprint! Genomic risk scores for juvenile idiopathic arthritis and its subtypes. These JIA GRSs hold promise for rapid clinical translation with at-risk children as high risk much earlier in the diagnostic pathway.

By reducing the genome to a radically few 13 immune-focused dimensions, we perform comparative study of the genetics of rare and common immune-mediated diseases, and identify biological co-factors for specific disease clusters, work led by @ollyburren https://t.co/2gLDo4kSWm
