Per FIFA rules:
A yellow card is awarded for a reckless challenge on an opponent such as tripping, tackling, grabbing, or interfering during play
A red card if given for a serious or dangerous foul that goes beyond what a yellow card would be merited for. -violent conduct (punching, kicking, biting, headbutting, etc.) or spitting on an opponent
What Faloran Balogun did was NOT so egregious that it should be straight to red. I’ll stand ten toes down on that. #usmnt
@CSG_FSU@BarstoolBigCat First time? First, that’s not what cleats up means. Second, red card requires intent or denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
By your definition it should have been a red card when the Bosnian player’s head fell into a US players knee. But context does matter so no foul
@ProjectLincoln Just another day on Fox News. JD Vance is lying while the network broadcasts “SOCIALISTS” and “COMMUNISM” in all caps at the bottom of the screen. That shit must go hard if you’re stupid as fuck.
If she can run from Guatemala all the way to the US border while pregnant, she’s a freak athlete and I welcome those genetics.
Also, Matt’s dislike of brown people seems to impair his ability to think critically or even read a map.
The idea that a pregnant woman from Guatemala can sprint across the US border, have the baby 30 minutes after arriving here, and the baby is magically a citizen of the US, is one of the most retarded and indefensible notions ever conceived
@EricSpracklen The thing is…..he is the same guy. He just lied to you then and now he’s saying the truth out loud. Some of us saw through it the entire time.
@chamath The lack of awareness here is hilarious. So you agree @chamath that a political leader should focus on important topics and not shameless self-promotion? If so, I have some news for you….
@NutSackNewton@SecKennedy One positive outcome doesn’t erase the harm RFK Jr & this admin have done by eroding trust & promoting ignorance. Science is not perfect but has done far more harm than good yet now we have uneducated science deniers who exist simply bc it’s trendy to challenge the status quo.
@mcuban At some point more and more compute will be pushed to the edge. Nvidia’s Spark is an early example and you can expect the form factor to continue shrinking over time. Jensen has talked about this a number of times.
