I am in holidays right now and finished my Godot 2.1 TerrainPolygon Plugin now. It has full custom drawing of tileable graphics and automatic collision generation. All widgets are custom made and provide a very flexible workflow.

@Abhiunx @reduzio@godotengine Absolutely. Check out this app by @NathanGDQuest. Its written in godot and exported as a webapp. Amazing! As far as I know they are rewriting the app in a way educators can utilize it to teach their own content.

@FreyaHolmer I would say godot is a success already! Sure, the engine has it's way to go. But seeing the dev made from past to present. The engine made big leaps! The foundation that formed around godot, the funding. Everything is going into a very healthy direction. Its just a matter of time
@directus Using a separate tab with documentation from your website. Makes it more efficient since the website offers a search. I am mostly using it to look up api functionality.
@NathanGDQuest None the less, this such a powerful tool. You just don't know when it might be lying to you. But this will probably get better with a few more iterations.
@NathanGDQuest I think the problem is the audience and what they expect and how critical they are about the results. In a field of my own expertise I might see when the ai is making mistakes. From topics I am not very fond, I might learn from plain false information since it sounds plausible.
@unrealmohamed Thanks, really glad to hear. Hmm.. Game dev was always a hobby of mine and will be. I just don't find the time right now. Priorities changed a bit with children getting older. So I am a passive follower of game dev atm. But my passion is still there! π
@NathanGDQuest@TysonTanX@godotengine Those look great. I never expected the original gbot to be spread that widely. It was just for testing purposes for a personal godotengine project.
@CitricThink Great comparison video. Never expected to compete with spine. Would you mind sharing your blender project file, so I could take a look at the exporter?
Would love to fix dragonbones and creature export at least.
@_devduck If you don't know that program yet, you may have a look at PixelOver. A godot build tool to create 2D pixelgraphics. It now has support for 3D objects. Could be something for your ship :-)
After over two years of intense research, design, and development, our team is unbelievably proud to officially announce the release of Directus 9.0!! ππ₯³π
A huge thank you to our team and community for helping us democratize the future of data! #opensource#nodejs#vuejs
@_devduck Great devlog. Thanks for sharing ben. In last devlogs you mentioned the problem of having multiple angles of your boat. What about mixing in 3D objects and try to fit them the pixel style? Maybe worth to explore. Here is a small prototype to showcase that. 3D object +pixelshader
