Dear India,๐ฎ๐ณ๐
I would like to draw attention to a deeply disturbing trend currently unfolding across social media platforms regarding Manipur.
Over the past few days, numerous posts, graphics, edited images, and inflammatory captions have been circulated online by like-minded, hate-mongering Naga accounts from Manipur, alleging that Kukis fed HUMAN FLESH ๐ฅฉto hostages.
These are among the most shocking accusations one can make against any community. Yet, they are being deliberately and widely shared with zero evidence, verification, or regard for the real-world consequences.
What is even more concerning is the calculated effort by these accounts to sensationalize these baseless claims through the emotionally manipulative use of Al-generated imagery, speculative narratives, and graphic insinuations designed to provoke outrage.
This is not merely an online campaign for engagement or views; it is a deliberate attempt designed to permanently tarnish the reputation of the entire Kuki-Zo community of Manipur.
The most troubling aspect of this phenomenon is that the people spreading these false narratives know exactly what they are doing. They know that outrage spreads faster than facts. They know that shocking accusations attract attention, and that once a lie gains momentum, corrections rarely travel as far as the original falsehood.
They know that once a community is portrayed as barbaric, inhuman, or monstrous, it becomes much easier to normalize hatred, justify discrimination, and incite hostility against them.
History has repeatedly shown that dehumanization is often the first step toward persecution.
As a quick reminder, the Kuki-Zo community went through similar damaging experiences due to disinformation spread by Meiteis in May 2023. This included the widespread circulation of false claims alleging that 40 Meitei medical students had been raped and killed in Churachandpur using wrong imagery from other parts of the country. Those allegations spread rapidly online, inflamed public sentiment, and led to devastating consequences. As a result, hundreds of Kuki-Zo lives were lost in Imphal, communities were displaced, and deep wounds were inflicted that remain unhealed to this day.
That is precisely why misinformation and sensationalized allegations should concern everyone. Once rumors are allowed to replace facts and outrage replaces verification, the damage extends far beyond social media platforms, leaving lasting scars that remain long after the posts disappear.
In an age where a single post can reach thousands within minutes at the touch of a button, the responsibility to verify information before sharing it has never been more critical. Rumors, manipulated content, and unverified allegations must be approached with strict critical thinking.
Ask yourself this honestly..
Why should anyone or community be expected to endure such disturbing allegations, fueled merely by "AI representative images" without proof, while the rest of the world simply watches and scrolls past?

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Every human life matters, whether he/she belongs to the Kuki, Naga, or Meitei community. Targeting one particular community will never bring a peaceful solution to the region.
If the Manipur government were serious enough to handle the Litan Sareikhong drunken brawl incidentโrather than bowing their heads before the Tangkhul NSCN-IM mouthpiece, Tangkhul Naga Longโwithout bias and without favoring the Tangkhul community, this situation would never have happened.
Tangkhul NSCN-IM and their alleged associates, ZUF-Kamson, ambushed a Kuki-Zo pastor convoy on May 13, 2026, and brutally murdered 3 Kuki-Zo pastors:
1. Rev. Dr Vumthang Sitlhou
2. Rev. Kaigoulun Lhouvum
3. Pastor Paogoulun Sitlhou
on the spot. They are still roaming around as if nothing had happened. For the Kuki-Zo community, every innocent life lost will never be forgotten until justice is delivered.
Why is the Manipur Government silent even after 29 days? Why has no action been taken against Tangkhul NSCN-IM and their alleged associates, ZUF-Kamson? Where is the investigation report?
When the Tangkhul community even sneezes, Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand @YKhemchandSingh says, "I had a sleepless night." Why is Mr. Khemchand still silent on the killers of the three pastors? Did Mr. Yumnam Khemchand follow his predecessor Nongthombam Biren, who instigated violence against the Kuki-Zo community?
Why does Mr. Yumnam Khemchand and his government remain silent whenever the Kuki-Zo community is attacked and killed? Why does Manipur Police @manipur_police always spread misinformation against the Kuki-Zo community?
Did Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand @YKhemchandSingh, Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam @KonthoujamG, and Manipur Police @manipur_police condemn and take action against Tangkhul NSCN-IM and their alleged associates who killed innocent civilians at Lasan Village and Kultuh Village? Stop spreading misinformation and double standards immediately.

A few years ago, the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, visited Manipur. During his speech, he accused the Meitei government of employing a divide-and-rule strategy by pitting Nagas against Kukis and Kukis against Nagas.
The team, led by Team Leader Havildar Riyajuddin, arrived at the site on Friday and immediately commenced operations from Zero Point, the location where the victim was last seen being swept away.

Strong Condemnation of the Attack on #Loibol Khulen Village
We strongly condemn the brutal attack carried out in Loibol Khulen Kuki Village under Bungte Chiru Sub-Division, Kangpokpi District, in the early hours of this morning by suspected ZUF-K militants. This senseless act of violence has claimed the lives of three innocent villagers, including an elderly woman, and left seven homes reduced to ashes.
The killing of innocent civilians and the destruction of their homes is an inhumane act that violates every principle of humanity and justice. Families who were peacefully living in their village have now been left devastated, grieving the loss of their loved ones and struggling to cope with the destruction of their properties.
We call upon the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, and all concerned security agencies to immediately investigate this heinous incident, bring the perpetrators to justice, and ensure the safety and security of vulnerable villages. The lives of innocent civilians must never become targets of armed violence.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic attack. We stand in solidarity with the people of Loibol Khulen and demand justice for the victims. Those responsible must be identified, arrested, and punished according to the law.
Violence against innocent civilians can never be justified. Peace, security, and justice must prevail.
