Pleased to have had the opportunity to write this CJASN editorial @asnpublications on the USE-the-FORCE-for-Acute Kidney Injury trial by our Canadian colleagues.

I'm especially glad to see mainstream #nephrology journals taking interest in multi-organ #POCUS. Even better, I managed to sneak my proprietary hemodynamic circuit illustration into the article!!
I'm not saying it usually sells out within 48 hours, but be sure to sign up early for the @ASNKidney#POCUS for Nephrologists early program featuring the quadruply-boarded course chair @NephroP! 🧠🥇😀 #kidneyweek2026

Nice to see our #POCUS perspective featured in @asnpublications "In The Loop". Encouraging to see POCUS getting more thoughtful attention in #nephrology; still a lot of work ahead on developing training standards. @AmirKazory@nephrothaniel

A milestone moment for #Nephrology‼️
For the first time, a multi-organ #POCUS chapter finds its place in Brenner & Rector’s "The Kidney", the book many of us grew up calling the bible of nephrology.
Truly special to be part of this moment with @ArgaizR and @nephrothaniel. Couldn’t have asked for better colleagues to share this journey with 🎉
Feels like an inflection point. #POCUS in nephrology is no longer confined to kidney #ultrasound.
Grateful to @AlanYuNeph, @valerie_luyckx and the entire editorial team for the trust in us.
Excited for the #NKFClinicals#POCUS precourse - less than a month to go.
@NKF_NephPros@nephrothaniel
If you’re looking to build solid fundamentals and get the hand–eye coordination right, this is a great place to start, with hands-on teaching from experienced faculty.
It’s also one of the most accessible courses from a pricing standpoint. Have no financial COI here - just sharing because it’s impossible to find a one-day course at this value.
Advanced echo, #VExUS are not covered but that foundation makes everything else much easier to learn later.

Right in time for #NephMadness, here’s our Kidney360 perspective on a trend we’ve been noticing - early labeling of #POCUS 'expertise', particularly in #Nephrology.

No one learned the physical exam in a day, so why do we expect POCUS competency to happen that fast, particularly when the scope is all over the place, from just IVC checks to full-on hemodynamic assessment?
We’re big believers in the value of POCUS but to help it reach its full potential, we need better standardization in both training and competency assessment so the field continues to grow in the right direction.
Thank you Jack for helping demonstrate #POCUS for nephrologists! #SWNC2026
As we discussed I'm posting your story to help you finds a donor! Please see the link on the image attached

Marking the 10th year since the inception of the annual #POCUS in Nephrology Immersion Course at the #SWNC nephrology conference @nkf of AZ!
Happy to contribute a guest post to the @AJKDonline Blog this #NephMadness season, discussing the #POCUS region and the shift from guessing about volume status/hemodynamics to visualizing physiology at the bedside.
Thanks @jrkott27 and team.
