A big day for our team. We’re excited to share what we’ve been building: AI for manufacturing engineering, already deployed at @anduriltech.
More from our co-founder and CEO, @bobmcgrewai, below.
I'm super excited to share what I've been working on this year at @Arda_Industries. This team is incredible and I know we will achieve amazing things together 🚀
Getting Arda off the ground has been one of the highlights of my career.
Arda helps other companies rapidly manufacture new, complex products at scale, and then change those products quickly as the world changes.
America designs the future. We should manufacture it, too. Arda is AI that turns product designs into assembly plans and updates them as designs change. Built to speed up American manufacturing.
Today, we're launching publicly. Backed by @Accel, @AltimeterCap, @foundersfund, @khoslaventures, @xyz_vc, @8vc, @svangel & @felicis.
@patrickc (only a quarter of the way in) it struck me how people living through historic change feel like in just a few weeks/months things will go back to how they were before.
A decade of work, now FDA-cleared 🙌 🇺🇸 🚀
Proud to be part of the @ThinkSono team behind the first AI ultrasound guidance software cleared for the evaluation of suspected DVT!
@teortaxesTex I think it is not just Chinese but many immigrants from abroad. Once they have stamped their golden ticket they can return home from their journey to the West.
In nearly every project, where I was working with others (human or AI), I had to decide how much details I need to know when.
You can delegate complexity only so much. Either you get to the details in your own time or during a critical outage at 2am. It is a fallacy to think you won’t have to care about the details.
My German family would never buy an AC because of the “waste of energy”. My wife's Spanish family finds this the most funny/stupid idea they have ever heard.
It is not helped by the same WHO study cited over and over again, which was written to be alarmist about climate change. If you dig a tiny bit, the numbers seem fantastical. It reminds me a lot of the paper straw study that was a high schoolers science project.
There are good points in the article, but it sad to see the WHO study cited over and over again. The study was written to justify action on climate change and now has become the most cited source for Americans talking about European AC usage.
The study does not hold up to any scrutiny. You would have to assume that we had worse heatwave than we had year round to get anywhere close to the numbers.
for everyone trying to build ai products or whatever there's literally just one product to build. any successful llm app is literally just:
llm in a for loop with tools and prompts
products like these scale with intelligence, and will continue improving exponentially, so maybe don't try to innovate over this (many such cases)
We’re out of stealth.
Today, we’re also announcing our Series A led by @sequoia , @8vc , and @A_StarVC , bringing our total funding to $30M+.
Every enterprise needs to teach their AI how to do work. We build agents that reverse engineer enterprise processes, then run them.
