Longevity desperately needs ambitious goals, like the first man in the Moon, the first 130 Years Man will be a great one. Isn't it odd that humanity conquers hundreds of the diseases, tamed atomic forces and overcame Earth gravity, but 120-year life barrier is not even touched?
I feel like the hot new thing is gna be menopause.
How is this NOT A THING???? I know some ppl going thru menopause right now - ITS WORSE THAN PREGNANCY AND NONE OF US CAN AVOID IT!
50% of humans. You couldn’t ask for a bigger market
Somebody solve this before I get osteoporosis
Ура! Среди многочисленных цитат нашей статьи очень приятно видеть что кому-то пригодились данные об эволюции генов, которые мы в @OpenGenes собрали сами вручную 😊
Whenever I pass by an old person I think about how they were once young.
Whenever I drive by a cemetery I think about how these were once live people.
Why do we passively accept aging and dying, and not trying to dedicate huge resources in an attempt to solve this problem...
Woah. I'm slightly embarrassed that I missed this for a few weeks. Finally there is approval, in a Large Nation, for a stem cell-based REPLACEMENT therapy for an age-related condition. The condition is, no surprise, Parkinson's, which I always highlight in talks as the archetypical one amenable to RepleniSENS. The approval is "conditional" (Japan's very sensible system essentially merges Phase 3 with Phase 4), but that's still huuuuge. https://t.co/q53TwN5BS7
Aging kills more than anything else 100k+ people every damn day. This must be a global priority! With today’s tech, it's criminal to ignore this and not even try to save them. Everything else can wait until we stop this death conveyor and buy ourselves more time.
I ask for a tiny Birthday gift - 3 minutes of your attention and a coffee.
I am 1 calendar year older than yesterday. It is the 6th of February, and I love this date because I have a lot of hugs from and wonderful conversations with my friends and family members. What I hate, though, is getting older - I want to get younger and healthier or at least remain at my current level of health. I want this option for myself, my family, my friends, and everyone in the world. That is why I have dedicated my career to the emerging longevity biotechnology industry.
You can help me in this quest by doing one of the following steps:

I calculated life expectancy for top billionaires based on my 'How Billionaires Die' research.
Pro-tip: fund longevity research today to live longer tomorrow
@elonmusk@JeffBezos@Forbes@davidasinclair@stats_feed
The world’s largest aging organization, the National Institute on Aging, has about a 4.4B annual budget; billionaires who died from aging in the last 10 years could have easily doubled it! Who knows, maybe they would have lived until now and become even richer.
We are the happiest people in history because we have a chance not only to watch the changes but to actively contribute to them and see how the results shape our world. I just wanted to say that I love life and progress that makes life better, longer, and even more interesting.
Recently I attended a lesson about medieval history, and the most amazing thing about it is that nothing changed for almost 1000 years: the same wars, the same society, the same ranks and titles. That always makes me appreciate the good luck we have to live in this period of time
their smartphone’s battery kept its charge 😆 . Now we have stepped into the era of AI that is affordable for the majority of people, and the pace of change is only accelerating. Is that scary? Yes, but more than that it is fascinating.
