Today I'm announcing Superintelligence Foundry @superfoundry, backed by a16z @speedrun.

This is the moment superintelligence gets born. What we're solving: alignment that scales, open-ended self-improvement, and bringing it into the physical world.

We are building a creative AGI: a scientist, engineer, and inventor that learns by acting in the world, keeps improving, and is intrinsically motivated to make the world better.

Building it again with Nima Asgharbeygi @nimasg , my co-founder and CTO.

Iran is in a total communications blackout. Internet, mobile networks, and landlines are down. Millions are completely cut off from the world.
During this nationwide blackout, the brutal killing of civilians has started in the past 24 hours.

We urgently call on Apple to enable Satellite Messaging for users inside Iran, or confirm whether the service is already active and functioning without interference.

Communication is a lifeline. Lives depend on it.

As I wrap up this year’s reflections, I would like to highlight our participation at #iREX2023, a globally recognized robotics trade show held annually in Tokyo.

At DENSO WAVE's booth, we had the opportunity to present our latest demo: an AI-powered coffee robot that interprets natural language directives through an LLM and skillfully handles coffee grinds and water to reliably brew coffee with precision.

As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the past year and prepare for what’s next. Here, I’ll recall some standout moments from this year which I can now disclose.

Kicking off at the start of the year: in January, Integral AI hosted an exclusive event atop a Tokyo skyscraper. At the event, we introduced ’Savor’, our demo robot chef, to 40 industry professionals.

The robot treated attendees to freshly prepared dishes, including precision-cooked A5 wagyu beef filet, mushrooms, and veggies all prepared on a teppanyaki grill. In addition, ‘Savor’ also served a selection of beverages.

Seeing the attendees reactions brought immense joy to all our team.
