I have lived 20+ years on the Undri HILLTOP and feel ashamed to say that we are victims of indifference by a harsh and cruel system. Rapid unplanned urbanization is responsible caused by the 'babus' & 'mantris' milking the system.
If water is unavailable as told to us;
1. Why is permission given further to construct?
2. Why was the 'occupation certificate' given to the developer when he should have been providing water until PMC came in to do so?
These are contradictory questions to the issue which someone ought to answer. Please move away from divisive governance and provide basics to citizens living in sub human conditions.
@Dev_Fadnavis@navalMH@PavneetKaurIAS@PMCPune@OfficialPMRDA please look into this basic issue plaguing the area for long.
Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi ,
After your advise to stop using cars, Today I decided to walk to my office and sharing some realities with you.
Citizens are not addicted to cars. Most people would happily avoid taking their cars out if cities simply offered three things properly; safe footpaths, protected cycling tracks, and dependable Metro connectivity.
Give us these three basics and I can confidently say private car usage will reduce massively on its own.
But today, the reality is different. Cities like Pune, where public transport demand is exploding, still struggle with incomplete and delayed infrastructure, while Metro projects are inaugurated in places where the urgency and density are comparatively lower like Bhopal or Nagpur for political advantage. Footpaths are encroached upon or broken by your own goons or electric dept. Cycling tracks exist mostly for presentations, events, and photo opportunities instead of daily commuting.
Then citizens are lectured about reducing car usage.
Sir, roads in India are still unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists. Asking people to give up cars without first guaranteeing safety is unfair. A middle class citizen choosing a car today is not choosing luxury; he is choosing survival and, predictability.
If you truly want us to adopt public transport and sustainable mobility, then please first make walking and cycling safe, and then focus on public transport reliable enough that citizens choose it willingly rather than being morally pressured into it.
It would be a great achievement if the target date is adhered to and those where the network is connected get water
There ought to be utmost transparency as people's trust is shaken. I have lived 20+ years in Undri and have been disheartened on various occasions. Yet we continue to live in hope as there is confidence in @navalMH sir #PavneetKaur ji from their actions in ground.
A humble request to PMC to provide a roadmap for delivering piped water to #UndriHilltop keeping all factors in mind like; DP plan approval, Survey and Budget for laying pipeline & creating Storage Tank etc. Surely there would be roadblocks but together we can achieve our goal.
Expectations are high and People are watching....
This has been the quickest turnaround when it comes to election promises. Someone has to be answerable to the residents of this area. Enough is enough @PMCPune and your complete lack of shame!
🚨Serious concern for Residents of #Undri, #Pune.
@PMCPune has suddenly stopped the Bridge & Road work between Kadnagar Chowk & Nyati WindChimes without any notice to residents. When questioned, PMC Project in-charge Avinash Kamthe stated there are “no funds” to continue the work.
This explanation is shocking. The project had already started and has now been abandoned midway.
Residends in Undri Hilltop currently have ONLY ONE access road – Undri Marg. Thousands of residents depend on it daily. If a medical, fire, or disaster emergency occurs due to lack of connectivity, who will be responsible?
What is even more alarming is that PMC collected over ₹250+ crore approximately in property tax from this area. If funds are unavailable for Basic Infrastructure like Roads and Bridges, Water Supply & Basic Amenities, where is this money being spent?
Residents face penalties for late property taxes. Why is there no accountability when infrastructure projects stop midway? Project Engineers’ pay should be linked to project completion.
Taxpaying citizens of Undri are demanding transparency on project finances, accountability from PMC officials, and an immediate timeline for restarting the Kadnagar Chowk–Nyati WindChimes bridge and road work.

What nonsense is this?? After the elections I heard this man give us a 'lecture' about "aapne apna kaam karliya hai humme elect karke, ab humme apna kaam karne dijiye"
Kya kaam kar rahe hai aap?? Get a reality check @PMCPune and get your act together! 😡

20+ years and these highly urbanized areas have grown without planning and basics. The ensuing civic elections are critical as expectations of the 'tax paying' citizens are high. Those in the fray ought to deliver.
#PMCinACTION
A long standing demand of the citizens raised repeatedly by #MURWDF on various forums sees the light of the day thanks to the proactive steps of @PMCPune
and @navalMH sir.
Thank you @pulse_pune for taking up this issue

#illegalRMCplantinUNDRI#healthhazard
Another RMC plant/factory infront of SS PLATINUM PARK, Undri. Has it got necessary clearance? A lake beside and hazard of pollution looms on innocent citizens.
PLEASE INVESTIGATE !

Imagine the day when the #supremecourtofIndia passes judgement that says "catch all rapists within 8 weeks and put them behind bars or vaccinated Delhi's dogs in 8 weeks. Wish this anger was directed towards bringing true criminals to justice.
The type of canine cleansing advocated in the name of law is unconscionable. There is a bonding that invariably develops between a community & its street dogs. Some people will never appreciate this. I offer my sympathies to them & hope they soon learn what it is to be human.
Please please sign this petition for the voiceless. They will starve and kill these beautiful animals under the guise of a shelter. Please help to save them from the cruel, inhuman order of the Supreme Court. 🙏🙏🙏

It really is a sad day.We can't protect the voiceless in our country. Instead of pulling up the government for its failure to control the dog population the supreme court of india has just come up with a rubbish verdict.
Shame on you #SupremeCourtofIndia
A country that can’t care for its animals especially dogs is not a country that is compassionate.
The Supreme Court is so so wrong on this one. Said both as a dog lover and a proud Indian. Some one needs to file a review petition! Soonest…
@Supertails_IND considering I have been saying how efficient about you guys to everyone, you have let me down not once but twice. I would like a refund on my order asap!! I am done with your service!
