43 Orthodox Christians Killed in Arsi Zone Massacre

Nine more Orthodox Christians were reported dead today, bringing the total to 43 victims in a single week. Between 22 and 24 October 2018, 16 Orthodox Christians were abducted in the Jaj Woreda, Segure, Wesheba, Tere Amena and Ange (Gua) Dache areas of the Arsi Zone. Nine of the abducted individuals were found dead, while six remain in the hands of the perpetrators. No convictions have been announced in connection with the killings.
