@DavidSacks Keep them coming. These gems get lost easily in hundreds of hours of pods. Also video content is hard to search for yet, until AI catches up
@DavidSacks@jamesrpickett@KanekoaTheGreat Evidence based critical thinking is much needed as a vital anchor, since one’s mind is constantly influenced by internal and external factors
@nbonneel Applaud your attempt to explain Diffusion. Would help if several pointers can be clarified, e.g. what is the blue sketch lower right? what are the -4 to 4 on the axes? what do you mean by "manifold"? what do the colors (blue, green, red) of those dots mean? ...
@theallinpod@DavidSacks@friedberg@chamath Further, add an AI explainer to the pod, so that audience can figure out concepts on their own, e.g. TI dollars, CRE in this episode, bonus point if explained visually
@theallinpod@DavidSacks@friedberg@DavidSacks@chamath how about making all-in more retrievable? ie, RAG or fine-tune your own LLM? I remember Sacks commenting on Elon’s work ethic or Chamath quoting stats, but it’s painful to locate them in tons of videos. Bard should help, but just makes things up
@__eknight__@nadeesha99 Congrats on the video-based #fsd 12. Could computer-generated driving videos train #FSD? It'd be much more abundant, controllable, flexible, faster, without relying on a large fleet?
@karpathy @kdcreer Beyond driving, computer-generated videos could train any vision-based #AI autonomy? Such as #tesla#optimus, robot pets, factory robot arms... Not relying on physical world footage removes so many constraints
@karpathy @kdcreer Speaking of world building and cinematics, could computer-generated driving videos train #tesla#FSD? It'd be much more abundant, controllable, faster, without relying on a large fleet.
@garylang@DavidSacks@friedberg@theallinpod@Jason Btw, @WalterIsaacson just talked about his book on @elonmusk. The risk taking pushed my appetite. Eg Elon and his cousins literally bought pliers at Home Depot and moved Twitter servers from Sacramento to Portland ad hoc on Christmas Eve https://t.co/WIwNFZoWDO
@garylang@DavidSacks@friedberg@theallinpod@Jason Thanks Gary! This podcast has shifted my views so much that I’m having a hard time picking an example. @DavidSacks going back to the history of nato expansion gave a new angle on the war. He does heavy reading to gain independent insights, which is what I need to improve too
