@South_Gradient Do you think Antilles gets bought out by a Trump insider?
Antilles has China connections through Xinhai, which makes everything more interesting….
@James56487175 It gets more interesting. In May, China released blocking statutes intended to prevent Chinese companies from complying with foreign sanctions.
This was in response to China’s oil refineries being sanctioned for purchasing Iranian oil.

@James56487175 The big question is how vulnerable Xinhai is to US sanctions. Do they have dollar clearing risk or shipping/insurance exclusion.
With 19% equity, my guess is the only thing stopping them is US boots on the ground
@TheRealEstateG6 "very pointless" is an overstatement
Every property is dependent upon economic forces
Interest rates, economic growth, wage growth, demographic changes
"will wages outpace inflation"
Will your property outpace inflation? Doesn't happen in financial repression regimes
@James56487175 Seems like that already happened to Sherritt (similar JV structure) and a Trump-connected insider was able to purchase them with approval from the Trump admin.
The Xinhai/Chinese EPC structure is a bit different than Canadian-owned Sherritt, though
@Empty_America One meal a day wrecks the metabolism. You’re signaling a famine/scarcity to your body when you eat less frequently, and the body responds with turning down the metabolic rate.
I’m same height, 200 lbs, 3 meals a day, maybe 3k calories, light walking and bodyweight exercises
