Attention medical illustrators! Here is the posting for my old position at @ScienceMagazine. DC area or remote. Be the next senior scientific illustrator @ScienceVisuals. Go for it! #sciviz#SciComm@AMIdotorg https://t.co/4vbgfB3s8M
1/4 Today's issue of @ScienceMagazine was my final cover as Senior Scientific Illustrator @ScienceVisuals. So lucky to have gone out on a paper with such fantastic authors as @ShavitKeshet @BenpalmerLab (tag others I couldn't find handles for!)
4/4 In a few weeks I will be starting a new chapter with @CognitionStudio continuing my mission to educate and support scientific and medical endeavors. I'm excited to get started.
3/4 Science offered me the platform to do so and I am so grateful to have had any modest impact on scientific communication at that level. I grew *a lot* over the years thanks to my supportive colleagues and the often-challenging subjects that came across my desk.

@RuneKidmose Thank you! Yes we are lucky to have a full Visuals team including illustrators, designers and photo editors who create original covers. Depending on a multitude of factors we do from time to time run images submitted by authors.
Because @SMHSci is prescient😉, we've got a gorgeous cover of @ScienceMagazine today (illustrated by @oooitsplasma) that highlights the latest collaborative LYSET work from @CarolynBertozzi!!! https://t.co/7mHMuvWBFt

Crowdsourcing a protein structure: Anyone have intel on the SARS-CoV-2 protein encoded by ORF7b? Could anyone with the chops run a prediction for me? This elusive fellow is a missing link for an upcoming project... #SARSCoV2#scicomm
Was an honor to illustrate the impressive progress on the NPC since last time 6 years ago. Thanks to everyone who provided the bits and pieces that went into creating this! @StefanPetrovicc@aobarska @s_mosalaganti @MSiggel And stay tuned for a @ScienceVisuals blogpost
