@BretDevereaux I feel compelled to point out that none of what the girls are wearing are actual flags. It’s just reminiscent of a flag (white stars on blue, and red and white stripes)
@TrentTelenko Every bullet is addressed to “to whom it may concern”. We cannot protect targets this way unless we give up on caring about the stuff around the targets. “Sorry about the day care, but we needed to protect something”
@DanFessler Dumb YouTuber doesn’t say it doesn’t pencil out economically (which it may or may not, but people have said that Starlink didn’t pencil out economically, and that’s obviously wrong now). Tuber said it doesn’t pencil out physically. Which is obviously wrong.
@JoshMurrah@BambulabGlobal If you want multi-color and not just color changes as layer changes, Bambus will have a bunch of waste from filament purges. Look into tool changers. I’ve got a Snapmaker U1, but there’s a bunch of other options now.
@smar_shall@davepl1968 For the purposes of space, they do have to be roughly flat. It’s radiation. So if you don’t have a clear line of sight out, it’s going to be re-absorbed, and not cool nearly as well.

They don’t need to have the salt water touch anything besides the outside. They don’t even really need to air condition the capsule: it’s cold enough the air inside chills from the water.
