@jonasmeckling Cool research! From my experience in the foundation world, I think this comes down to:
cost * probability of success = likelihood of funding
So Florida, which is a very costly to engage on policy and with many entrenched interests gets lower foundation investments.

There are some buildings that are very costly to retrofit to all-electric and cold climates (MN) where some hybrids make sense from total system cost perspective. But that isn't true in all buildings / places.

Not sure they list an HSPF, but with a little data wrangling the model numbers could be merged with the NEEP ccASHP specification to impute them

@JesseJenkins @kevinkircher @dhariksm Yeah, we and others use NHTS trip data to simulate charging patterns, accounting for home, public and workplace charging. The load shape ends up looking much flatter once the diversity of trip behavior and charging session type
