@tracewoodgrains couldnt eat italian food but study abroad in italy (and that was a decade ago - there's still more diverse food options in italy now!)
Everyone actually wants the same things:
- enough money to pursue their true interests and not feel anxious all the time
- having trustworthy friends with whom they can share their most meaningful moments with
- being married to someone they're physically and mentally attracted to, who is growing in the same direction
- experiencing life in a healthy, strong, confident body, and a clear, sharp, focused mind
- living in a place where people reciprocate thoughtfulness, generosity, kindness
- having enough tranquility to immerse themselves into timeless novels, then write down their own contribution, their own stories
- looking back at their lives when they're old, feeling deep satisfaction and zero regret, because they tried when they were scared, they loved when they could, and they lived a life beyond what they imagined they ever could.
@JoePompliano@FaulknerKristen amazing achievement but it should be called out that she was an athlete in college (aka more fit than the average person)
@simonsarris Someday there will be a marketing campaign romanticizing pickleball, and athletic stores will flock to make pickleball outfits cool (as they've successfully done w yoga and so on). That day seems not that far
