Another tragic incident where a young Sikh woman Kirandeep Kaur, has been fatally stabbed and killed in Hayes, west London.
A man in his 20’s Daniel Sean James has been arrested and charged with murder.
Investigations are ongoing to determine any racial or religious hate crime committed in this horrific attack. However, questions remain on how long will the Sikh community be ignored and neglected by government in the face of increasing attacks?

Repost from 2025:
The Butcher vs. The Valiant | Part 2 - The Story of Punjab 1995
This video tells the story of two opposing figures in one of Punjab’s darkest chapter: K.P.S. Gill, the state’s powerful, controversial police chief, and Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra, the human rights defender who exposed the murders of 25,000 Sikhs orchestrated by the Indian government.
In 1995, Khalra’s fearless pursuit of truth led to his abduction and disappearance - an atrocity that exposed the brutality of state repression. Through archival footage, we revisit a battle between fear and courage, silence and truth, oppression and justice.
Bhai Khalra talked about being a single candle which would fight the darkness. With his inspiration, countless more candles have been lit and will continue to burn until the darkness is finally dispelled.
Today we mark the 3rd Shaheedi Anniversary of Bhai Avatar Singh Khanda who was killed in suspicious circumstances in the UK, we continue to fight his case for Truth & Justice @MichaelPolakLaw@ukhomeoffice@ShabanaMahmood@WMPolice
We said from day one the government official was telling “untruths” or was “naive” at best.
Following repeated questions in interviews with @MarkJCarney (once in Sydney) @AnitaAnandMP (three times, Canada, Mumbai and Delhi) if they agreed “yes” or “no” with the official they both eventually said “we would not use those words”.
We can now conclude the government official was telling A PACK OF LIES to defend Mark Carney’s visit to India.
Another more serious implication of what the government official said is it allowed the current Indian High Commissioner to Canada to state to media India had been vindicated and add weight to their denial in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
@MarkJCarney@AnitaAnandMP and the government official by spreading lies in effect UNDERMINED the @CSIS@RCMP and the ongoing investigation and trial into the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
The @globeandmail story that broke using @CSIS@RCMP sources before @MarkJCarney met @PMOIndia@narendramodi confirmed the PACK OF LIES.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) at their press conference after the two PMs had met (despite the matter being discussed according to Carney) when questioned about the @globeandmail story remained in total denial about the involvement of Indian officials in the assassination.
To put matters right @nationalpost@globeandmail@CBCNews@CSIS@RCMP etc. should force @MarkJCarney@AnitaAnandMP to ensure Vikash Yadav and Samant Goel are extradited to Canada to face trial and see whether the evidence leads to Ajit Doval @AmitShah and @narendramodi

The Foreign Affairs Minister, Anita Anand was repeatedly grilled by Canadian reporters in Mumbai today.
*It was a car-crash interview as she failed to answer one simple question with a yes or no.*
She failed to clarify if she did or did not agree with unnamed Canadian officials that stated on Wednesday that Carney would not be travelling to India if the Indian government was still involved in political interference, violence and transnational repression targeting Sikh activists and businesses as she knows there is plenty of evidence and intelligence held by the RCMP and CSIS that this remains a serious and real threat.
This missed opportunity to set the record straight now guarantees Canadian reporters will pose the same question to Mark Carney at the press conference on Monday unless a written statement is urgently issued to clarify the false statement made by Canadian officials.
Anita Anand’s reputation has been severely damaged as it would have been much easier to distance herself from the naïve comments by the officials.

Has Mark Carney’s administration sold out?
@MarkJCarney has shown his true colours and clearly signalled on his India visit he is prepared to turn a blind eye and compromise the safety and security of Canadians to reach a trade deal with India this year.
Mark Carney had a plan to make a U-turn on India relations within 12 months that he has put into effect ignoring the ground reality on India’s political interference, violence and transnational repression.
Is Mark Carney prepared to meet the family of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, those from the Sikh community given threat to life warnings by Canadian police and Sikh businesses facing extortion and threats of violence, including death to say things have dramatically improved in Canada in the last 12 months?
Mark Carney has been compromised by India’s threats and economic coercion that he warned about in Davos, Switzerland.
Mark Carney can never be taken seriously on Canada’s sovereignty and rule of law unless he takes a firm stand against India’s political interference, violence and transnational repression.
Foreign Affairs Minister, @AnitaAnandMP when repeatedly questioned by reporters has avoided the question, but refused to back up statements by senior government officials suggesting what they stated to justify Mark Carney’s visit to India was false.
Canadian Prime Minister @MarkJCarney under pressure while on his visit in India to distance himself from untruths spread by his officials on the transnational repression threat posed to Canadians by the Indian government and its agents
Read the @SikhFedUK press release below:
It appears unnamed government officials been used to spread untruths ahead of Prime Minister @MarkJCarney’s trip to India to justify his controversial visit with the backdrop of India’s transnational repression and political interference in Canada.
One senior government official naively told reporters in a background briefing that Carney would not be travelling to India if the federal government believed India was actively interfering in the Canadian democratic process.
A second official said Canada has the “right mechanisms to detect and disrupt threats. I really don’t think we’d be taking this trip if we thought these kind of activities were continuing.”
Controversy surrounds these statements from unnamed officials and 48 hours later no Canadian Ministers @CSIS@RCMP have yet come forward to defend or corroborate what the officials said.
@MarkJCarney@AnitaAnandMP@gary_srp must break their silence and distance themselves from what the officials said or face the political fallout as the Canadian public deserve the truth. @CPC_HQ@NDP@BlocQuebecois must challenge.
The statements from the officials appear to contradict recent assessments from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service @CSIS
In a statement to @CTVNews on Thursday, when asked whether India is still engaging in foreign interference, CSIS spokesperson Magali Hébert did not specifically address the latest comments from senior government officials.
The @RCMP also would not comment directly to CTV News on Wednesday’s comments from government officials.

Indian man pleads guilty to arranging assassination of Sikh separatist activist
Federal prosecutors claim the Indian government hired Nikhil Gupta to orchestrate the killing of a New York City-based activist calling for the secession of Punjab, a state in northern India home to a large population of Sikhs.

The international conference organised by @bakuinitiative in Baku, Azerbaijan provided an opportunity to share facts about the Sikh sacrifices for independence, betrayal of promises, Partition and Sikh rejecting the Indian Constitution. This was reported in Azerbaijan media.
The international conference organised by @bakuinitiative in Baku, Azerbaijan provided an opportunity to educate about the concept of Langar at Gurdwaras and explain Sikh history, including the Sikh Kingdom that existed for 50 years and was Illegally annexed by Britain in 1849. This was reported in Azerbaijan media.
At the international conference organised by @bakuinitiative there were many important messages shared about Sikhi and Sikh history that were reported in Azerbaijan media. This is one of many examples.
BREAKING | The Bishnoi Gang, a designated terrorist entity, has been “acting on behalf of the Indian govt,” according to an RCMP document obtained by Global News.
This comes as @HCI_Ottawa continues to deny Indian transnational repression in Canada, including yesterday on the CBC.
Carney's Ministers @AnitaAnandMP and @MSidhuLiberal have been actively working to normalize ties with India as the Modi government continues to engage in state sponsored terrorism in Canada, including orchestrating extortions, homicides, assassinations and other criminal activity targeting the Sikh Canadian community.

India's trade pact with the United States stalled last year because Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not make a telephone call to President Donald Trump ahead of a deal, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick @howardlutnick said on Friday, giving an account of events that New Delhi has denied.
Lutnick's comments came after Trump stepped up the pressure for talks with a warning this week that tariffs could rise further unless India curbs its Russian oil imports.
The failure to reach a deal has pushed the Indian rupee to a record low and spooked investors waiting for progress in two-way negotiations.
India is still seeking a tariff rate between Washington's offers to Britain and Vietnam that had formerly been agreed but the offer has expired, Lutnick added.
India's trade ministry did not respond to an e-mailed request for comment on Lutnick's remarks.
