@RalphyHeraldSun Frampton won the free kick because Mihocek ducked into the tackle (and head first into the ground) which was deemed his prior opportunity. Case closed.
@XavierORourke@chrisbrycki NDIS is the obvious place to cut but there’s others too such as reducing the tobacco and alcohol excises which have both reached Laffer curve levels and we should be applying more asset based means testing across a range of government programs.
@XavierORourke@chrisbrycki We are still disincentivising workers with a high tax rate. This budget did nothing to address that. We’re just also now disincentivizing the same workers from investing.
@CKitsakis@ZacGross Spot on. And there’s whole segments of the share market you can’t take any directional bets on via ETFs like domestic junior miners. These companies are critical to Australian growth and would be starved of capital if all funds flow to ETFs.
@TMFScottP It’s the government’s job to sell this policy given they stated on numerous times that they wouldn’t change NG or CGT. So far they are doing a terrible job of it and people are right to demand better explanation and a chance to fully understand how it will impact them.
@SwingRequired We’re saying the same thing. Only small businesses are eligible. Great for them. Not so great for Australian productivity, entreprenuership, etc.
