@ladybadem@andycorneys We were below freezing all week down to -4 at some points. Late Thursday night it was still in minus figures. By 5pm Friday we were at 17 degrees! Then torrential rain and strong winds on Saturday morning.
@ScottDuncanWX We were below freezing all week with snow and ice for days up to Thurs night. Then on Friday morning it suddenly warmed up to 17 degrees C by 6pm 🤯 then heavy rain on Saturday like a tropical rainstorm at 7am and very windy. We're in Rochdale UK
@bound_berta@1goodtern It may have been a normal flu but it was horrendous and he was very sick for about a week. Of course he was in a group of people from all over the country and international students. The lad sat next to us was from Madrid. No surprise so much was passing around at the time
@bound_berta@1goodtern Our son and i were visiting uni campuses in Jan/feb as he had offers to start in sept. We had tours and at one of the speeches the lead scientist said they had just had visitors from wuhan. Everyone laughed (some nervously like me!) Our son was then floored by a horrible virus 🥺

@g_gosden They've got figure wrong too. They have a special arrangement. They pay 20% tax unlike everyone else paying 40%, they have higher thresholds and they can pay it over 10 years - interest free. Not at 7% they claim in the video. Plus no more than 500 farms will be affected...

@John_Stepek@soniasodha If the lived experience means there are no substantive arguments why do disability campaigners always say you should listen to it when dealing with other issues around disability? Either it's valid or it isn't. It needs careful consideration and the lived experience
