Allah is kind. My father had a very close shave. The details are sketchy at the moment but what is known is that a man with a loaded pistol was able to get within point blank range & discharge a shot. It was only the close protection team that deflected the shot & ensured that the assassination attempt failed. There are more questions than answers at the moment including but not limited to how someone was able to get this close to a Z+ NSG protected former CM.

Kulgam, September 21, 2025 — An introductory meeting of the President of JKYNC Kashmir Province , Mir Mushtaq, was held today with the Zonal and District Committees of the South Zone at Kulgam.

Provincial President JKYNC Kashmir @Mir_Mushtaq today attended a Youth Meeting in Pulwama, accompanied by Provincial Executive Members @peer_asrar @sirfangull, @JavaidRahimBhat and District President YNC Pulwama@Nasir Hussain Ganie. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth workers of the district.

In his address, Mir Mushtaq highlighted the important role of young cadres in reaching out to people in times of crisis. Referring to the current flood situation across the Valley, he said that every youth member can play a constructive role in helping affected families, providing timely support, and working shoulder to shoulder with the community. He stressed that YNC stands committed to serving the people in every circumstance and urged the youth to remain proactive, disciplined, and dedicated to humanitarian service.

After the meeting, Mir Mushtaq along with the team visited multiple locations in Pulwama to take stock of the flood situation and assess the problems being faced by the local population. He assured that the voice of the people will be conveyed at every appropriate platform and reiterated YNC’s commitment to stand with the community during these difficult times.@JKNC_
