**Title: Potential Biomarker for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in Connective Tissue Diseases** ‼️
🔬✨ Excited about the potential of **Anti-ANXA5** as a predictive biomarker for PAH in connective tissue diseases! Here are some key findings from our study:
1. **Connection to PAH**: Studied PAH in CTDs like SLE, MCTD, and SS, excluding systemic sclerosis.
2. **Sample Size**: Analyzed sera from 86 CTD patients (32 with PAH, 54 without).
3. **Autoantibody Identification**: Used 1D and 2D immunoblots and proteomics for detecting AFA and AECA.
4. **Key Findings**: PAH+ patients showed distinct IgG reactivity against fibroblasts & endothelial cells.
5. **Notable Autoantibody**: Anti-ANXA5 IgG significantly higher in PAH+ patients with MCTD (73% vs 0%) and SLE (33% vs 0%).
6. **Conclusion**: Anti-ANXA5 could be a predictive biomarker for PAH in MCTD & SLE patients.
