We are happy to announce that the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo has moved to a new location.
From now on, you can find us at 9 Orme Court, London W2 4RL. π½π°π¬π§
Complaining about nightlife when you *checks notes* choose to live in Soho is like living in South Kensington and complaining about the museums.β¨β¨Or moving to Hackney and grumbling about creatives. Living in Richmond and hating green space. β¨β¨It's all getting a bit silly, isn't it?
Yk at first you do the 6-7 ironically to relate to the kids...then you get addicted to it. Every time someone says those numbers in that order your arms can't help themselves. They just do it. Pope Bob is not immune to this.
It's a good move. Bit EU is partly to blame. It dragged its feet with integration, leaving Western Balkans as a playground for the corrupt and authoritarians.
Congratulations Shkodra, congratulations Albania! π¦π±π
Lake Shkodra has been designated a UNESCO Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, under the βMan and the Biosphereβ Programme.
We are proud to have supported this achievement through an EU-funded project, which prepared the nomination file by highlighting the natural wealth, biodiversity, traditions, culture, and heritage of the lakeβs entire catchment area. 1/2
The European Commission has cautioned Albania against actions that may impact its EU accession path, amid ongoing national protests over a Jared Kushner-linked development project on the countryβs southern coast.

Reporting from the Financial Times on Xinjiang remains incredibly grim:
* In some areas, 90% of children are taken from parents to be educated in boarding schools where they aren't allowed to speak Uyghur
* Officials monitor who eats during Ramadan and report those who skip meals
* Basic items like prayer mats and religious text are considered illegal contraband
* Adult Uyghur women are pressured to marry Han Chinese men, and there are official goals to sterilize a certain % of them.
* Xinjiang has the largest prison capacity in the world relative to population
* Huge numbers of Uyghur prisoners are now being shipped across the country in forced labor schemes, as a way to dodge Xinjiang sanctions/boycotts
* The CCP shut down all 10 existing Uyghur-language publishers, none remain. They fed one university's book collection into a shredder.
There's a lot going on the world, but it's worth remembering that China is still actively engaged in cultural genocide. They're barely even hiding it, they openly talk about the need to 'correct' Uyghur culture and create 'ethnic unity'. They are openly destroying an entire culture as efficiently as they can, cutting children off from parents, restricting language, restricting religious practice, forcing sterilizations and intermarriage, imprisoning anyone who resists the tiniest amount and shipping them out to forced labor factories. That is what the CCP is.

nobody wanted Arsenal to win the Prem because we thought their fans were gonna be unbearable and annoying, but whats ended up happening is everyone else has become completely unbearable instead, crying and belittling their achievements as much as possible just to fuel agendas
The Soho Society's decision to oppose all new and extended licence applications is the wrong one - it's bad for London.
Once in force, new licensing powers Iβve been granted by Government, coupled with our bold new proposals to support Londonβs hospitality and nightlife, will help us protect venues, extend London's late-night offer and allow the capitalβs nightlife to flourish.
