So proud to have introduced the Investing in Rural America Act and to have it included in the Farm Bill!
This bill will expand funding for essential buildings in rural communities, like childcare centers, hospitals, and senior care facilities.
Partnerships between the Farm Credit System and local lenders are critically important for rural communities to be able to improve and expand.
I worked to include the Investing in Rural America Act in the #2026FarmBill – a huge win that will give rural communities more tools to access the capital needed to finance essential community facilities like hospitals, childcare centers, and emergency services.
Farm Credit applauds @CongressmanGT and @HouseAgGOP for their work to produce the Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2026. The draft released today incorporates vital bipartisan marker bills that are key to helping Farm Credit better serve producers and rural America.
