.@elonmusk Sword used Grok to build PS5SX2 and made it open source so gamers can finally play the PS2/3 games they already own on disc on their PS5.
Gamers asked Sony for this for years and were told it wasn’t possible. Now one dev using Grok has done it.
To me, this shows PlayStation was lying to the whole gaming community while selling us remakes and remasters of games we already paid for.
The greed is sickening.
Today is one of those days where it is especially frustrating that our attempt at claiming many of the registered seedsigner-similar URLs via ICANN’s URS process failed. At the time I was advised that our chances at winning if we escalated to the UDRP process were good, however it was prohibitively expensive to pursue the matter further. If you are a community member with ample financial resources and would be willing to fund this in the interests of the project, please get in touch.
This would be a good time to shill "SeedLocker", a DIY version of EntropySeal...

Kudos to @frazzledrip7 for all of the work and iteration he has put into this.
Looks like there may be a true supply chain attack at scale in play. Decentralization is not just for nodes and mining — decentralizing bitcoin cold storage is important too.

A binding precedent now says that money that went into a mixer contributes to laundering money – and almost nobody noticed.
End of September, the DC Circuit Court dismissed Roman Sterlingov’s appeal, finding “that transfer of funds to and from Bitcoin Fog furthered Bitcoin Fog’s ability to launder the funds of all users."
This, at least, is what SDNY now seems to be alleging against Roman Storm.
In a letter last night, SDNY told the court that it should dismiss Storm’s rule 29 motion, which will decide whether the Tornado Cash developer will be tried (again) in New York.
Why? Because one user was based in New York, and all funds deposited in a mixer-like protocol contributed to the criminal conspiracy charged, as US v Sterlingov just found.
"There was abundant evidence of the importance of increasing the number of deposits and withdrawals into the Tornado Cash pools via deposits from users, [...] to make the pools more effective for concealment purposes," SDNY says.
And of course, the privacy of all users of a privacy protocol increases the more people use it; just like the Tor browser is not useful to conceal your identity when you are the only person using it.
But let’s not forget what evidence SDNY showed the court on Storm’s intent to engage in any criminal activity:
As far as I remember, they had a T-Shirt, and a private message on how to launder large amounts of criminal proceeds – that turned out to have actually been written by a journalist for research purposes, as we were first to report last year.
The effect, if SDNY’s argumentation is allowed to stand, will be much worse than the mixer rule that was abolished yesterday.
It could mean that anyone depositing funds into a mixer-like technology could be charged with engaging in a criminal conspiracy.

Thrilled to announce that @ThePrimeagen has joined Omarchy Core to lead Agentic QA. His new Oligarchy harness will soon be vetting all our upcoming releases using @digitalocean droplets, which will host agents running on our @AIatMeta tokens. Full cricle! https://t.co/mRueXlaGxT
I wrote a blog post on the recent exploits in the Bitcoin ecosystem, how Bitcoin Core is holding up, and how I think the community can get ahead of the models:

After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
GOG Preservation Program now lets you download 3D scans and printable versions of the original big-box PC packaging for selected classic games.
The first games include Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, Armikrog, Descent, Hitman: Codename 47, and Myst.
So if you miss those huge ’90s PC boxes, you can literally print your own.
It’s not like owning an original physical but it’s a really nice option for collectors, especially since so many old PC boxes have disappeared over the years.
I can not overstate how great last years https://t.co/92jLrC82iX was.
The first #bitcoin conference I had been to in YEARS that felt like the OG conferences I remember. None of the corp crap, just great talks, bitcoiners sharing ideas, building and beer. Psyched its on again 🔥
This is really brilliant. Wonderful. The best art poses real underlying questions. In this case, what does a world look like when you don't need to think? OpenAI itself says it wants "perfect context" of your life. If your entire life is perfectly contextualized, it is modeled, and thus behavior can be predicted and manipulated. What is the purpose of you then? What is the need for a human being?
In the short term, to do physical tasks for the AI that it can't. How does it do this? By inserting strategic contextual prompts at any point in the chain of your life that will blossom into an action it desires in the future. In a world of perfect context, there is no free will. You are a tool for a machine.
In the long term, as robotics advances, the human being isn't even necessary anymore. A robotic replacement can do physical tasks. So then what? What happens to the human being?
Nobody has successfully answered this question yet.
This video has a nice Plato's Cave allegory with the people breaking out of the mesmerized trance, but in real life, unfortunately, that's far less probable to happen.
So what is the role of the human?
That's why this short AI video is art. Because it prompted these thoughts, questions, and hopefully discussions. AI can be art, don't believe haters who say it can't.
Giacomo Zucco (@giacomozucco) has rejoined OCEAN’s Board of Directors.
Giacomo has been part of OCEAN since the beginning, but his history with Bitcoin goes back much further.
Since 2013, he has made a career out of pulling Bitcoin apart, explaining why it matters, and building the ecosystem around it. He has helped develop and advance open technical standards including BOLT, OpenTimestamps, RGB, and BDK; taught Bitcoin everywhere from university programs to Lugano’s Summer School and Cubo+; and advised major financial and infrastructure companies trying to understand what Bitcoin means for their businesses.
Today, he leads Bitcoin education as VP of the Plan ₿ Foundation in Lugano and CEO of Plan ₿ Network, while continuing to invest in and advise Bitcoin companies across the ecosystem. He’s also a physicist and honorary consul. Because, as with Bitcoiners, of course he is.
Giacomo has spent more than a decade approaching Bitcoin from just about every direction possible. He asks hard questions, holds strong views, and cares deeply about keeping Bitcoin decentralized, permissionless, and resistant to capture.
This perspective has been part of OCEAN’s DNA from the start.
We’re glad to have it back around the table.
Welcome back, Giacomo.
