We have three cool announcements today:

(1) @OpenAI is launching commerce in ChatGPT. Their new Instant Checkout is powered by @stripe.
(2) We're releasing the Agentic Commerce Protocol, codeveloped by Stripe and OpenAI.
(3) @stripe is launching an API for agentic payments, called Shared Payment Tokens.

It's clear that internet purchasing modalities are going to change a lot, and we're excited to start to lay some of the foundations.

Note to self:

At an individual level, new leadership can intoxicate many with possibility—fresh faces at the helm promising bright horizons & bold futures. but history whispers a harder truth.

Although some changes can fuel one’s efforts, Individual change isn't some mystical force that descends. it's built in the trenches, by individuals who refuse to wait for permission.

agency isn't granted—it's seized.

Good point: Is this what you're referring to as an "agent platform," illustrated in Startup A?

Startup A (Generic Platform):
Builds a platform that lets users create "AI agents" for generic tasks, using GPT-4 API, Claude, etc. to power conversations—something foundational providers could easily incorporate.

vs.

Startup B (Specialized Solution):
Builds AI agents specifically for healthcare diagnostics, integrating with specific diagnostic tools and hospital systems with deep domain expertise. Moreover, Startup B offers superior customization compared to foundational providers and moves faster on domain-specific innovations.

@PriteshSMB @SunShakSunday Agree with this, something I have seen many do. With weekly connect and reporting, may be even management company. I’ve observed for many it’s not a motel, it’s a legacy - something they can pass down to generations. And most uncs would say in Gujarati (vekai nai)
